Throat Pain from Irritation

Patients who suffer from throat pain from irritation typically suffer from a sore throat, even burning pain. This pain is present with or without vocal use.

Possible causes include:

  • Laryngeal inflammation
  • Reflux laryngitis
  • Side effect from radiation therapy to the voice box area
